High Tech Park
Since 2005, a special economic zone has been operating in Belarus with a special tax and legal regime for the development of IT business – the High-Tech Park.
- HTP customers are companies from 67 countries.
- 91% of the software produced in the Park is exported – 43.2% to the USA, 49.1% to Western Europe, 5.3% to the CIS.
The main difference between HTP and most foreign counterparts is its extraterritorial nature (a resident company is not tied to a specific territory and can operate and apply benefits in any part of Belarus).
